Random Acts of Kindness

In our journey to shape and grow Squirrel's Granola Co., we've been blown away by the kindness of so many of you through your reviews, referrals and support, and the simple generosity of other small business owners for no other reason than it was the kind thing to do. In fact, when I've been on the receiving end of a person's kindness, the colours of the world get a little bit brighter around me.

One of these seemingly random acts of kindness led us to an opportunity to participate in a local startup accelerator that we're nervous and excited to experience over the next few months!

We don't share this news to ingratiate ourselves with you or to signal that you'll see us on TV trying to avoid being Dragon or Shark fodder anytime soon, but to share how a seemingly random act can lead to change and action we could have never forecasted. The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation is one of the best resources that we've come across to help add a little colour to someone's world and to make your day too. 

This quote from Kahlil Gibran sums it up beautifully: "The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the greatest intention."
